 It is with great sorrow and a deep sense of loss that the firm announces the death on February 13, 2008 of its co-founder and senior partner, Braxton Schell.
Braxton Schell was a giant among North Carolina attorneys and was admired and respected by all who knew him. Braxton was devoted to the practice of law at the highest level and was determined to render to his clients the very best legal services and advice. He received many honors as a practicing lawyer, including multiple listings in Best Lawyers of America and Business North Carolina Legal Elite. He has received the Greensboro Bar Association’s Distinguished Service Award and served on the boards of many corporations and charitable organizations over the years.
All of us at Schell Bray have benefited from the guidance, the experience and the wisdom of Braxton Schell, and we will miss him very much.
